NUS

You really should invest in an NUS if it doesn’t say NUS on your student card. Prices start from £12 per year or even cheaper if you buy it for three years.

With an NUS card you can get 10% off at your local co-op, 50% off NOW TV for 6 months and 25% off on cinema tickets with Odeon.

They can help you get some great discounts just for doing your weekly shop or just watching tv!

If you’ve never heard of the UniDays app, you need to download it right now.

If you’re registered to a University, you just have to enter a few details and pop, you’re in.

It’s an app that gives you discount codes for many of the high street shops and online sellers.

At the moment, they have 20% off H&M, 25% off American Apparel and 50% off Spotify Premium.

FREE FOOD (REALLY)

One of the best things about having a student card is the Maccies freebies.

Everybody's favourite golden arches are a student saviour when you're just too hungover (or any reason really) to cook. When you order a meal, you can flash your student card and receive a free fries, cheeseburger or a McFlurry.

It comes in so handy when you want that little bit extra or fancy a dessert with your meal too.

Most cinema groups LOVE students and simply flashing your card should unlock a variety of discounts.  Odeon offer 25% discount to students and our personal favourite, Showcase, give you a discounted student price which knocks off around £2 a ticket.

Also, if you sign up to their Insider programme, you can get cinema tickets for just over £6 on a Sunday evening, a Monday or a Tuesday.

This card also gets you discounted snacks on selected deals and free Insider info and screenings.

GET OUT THERE & TRAVEL

With an NUS card, you can get 16% off a 16-25 railcard – which makes it all the more cheaper to travel around the UK!

Also, National Express are offering 25% off with a NUS card on selected bookings made. Remember to book 3 days in advance of travel though!

If you find any more cool discounts, please let us know?
