Your Student Experience

What does university mean to you? Creating memories, making friendships, learning new skills? It’s all of these and so much more.

You’re embarking on a new life with new challenges, furthering your education and life skills and breaking out of your comfort zone. For most, it is their first time away from home, a daunting and yet exciting notion. You will be meeting people from all over the world and making friends that will likely become friends for life.

We know how important going to university is to each and every one of you, which is why Derwent Students looks to support you in any way you may need throughout your time with us.

Each of our properties across the UK have friendly and helpful on-site teams, from front-desk advisors to answer any day-to-day queries, to maintenance teams who aim to fix any issues you may have quickly and efficiently.

We know that university is more than just study. After all, everyone needs to let their hair down sometimes. This is why we offer regular resident-only social events at our accommodation. Offering events from cooking nights, gaming afternoons, cake and coffee mornings and even the odd BBQ, we have something for everyone. Don’t forget your community online too.  Our teams are fully wired to make sure our social media pages are loaded with juicy fun content, frequent competitions and fab local events, so make sure you join us as soon as you can!

All of our accommodation rents are all-inclusive, meaning you don’t have to worry about paying for any unexpected bills.  We also offer secure key operated entry and 24 hour security at most of our properties, so you feel safe 24/7 and never have to worry about being locked out.
