The Canalside is just a few minutes walk to Aston University and not too far from Snow Hill Railway station. It is also close to the arts campus of the University of Central England, Birmingham University Dental Hospital and Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
The nightlife in Birmingham is vast with more students than in any other UK city outside London. The bustle of Broad Street offers a large number of clubs and bars playing music ranging from cheese and pop to RnB and hip-hop.
Digbeth’s The Custard Factory is Birmingham's revolutionary new arts and media quarter. Built 100 years ago it is now home to a hive of young creative companies, galleries, fine artists, independent shops and terrific restaurants. One of Birmingham's biggest nightclubs, The Medicine Bar is located here.
