Code of standards

ANUK Accreditation Network UK All Derwent Living student properties are signed up to the National Code of Standards for Larger Developments. It is a voluntary code but we have signed up to it because we are committed to raising the standard, service and quality of student accommodation.

The basic principles of the code are:

  • Managers and tenants enjoy the benefit of good standards of housing management and practice
  • Misunderstandings and disputes are reduced
  • Where problems do occur they are promptly resolved.

The Code enjoy the support of the National Union of Students (NUS), The Department of Communities and Local Government (DCLG), The Welsh Assembly, The Accreditation Network UK (ANUK), The Association for Student Residential Accommodation (ASRA), Chartered Institute of Environmental Health Officers (CIEH), Conference of University Business Officers (CUBO), UniversitiesUK.
